Grade

Indicator of category related to features or characteristics that cover different sets of needs for products or services intended for the same functional use.

Gratuities

Money or other items offered to an employee of the federal government with a view of securing a contract. This is a violation of Public Law.

Green Seal

These products have met all requirements for Green Seal Certification.

Greening

Green Cleaning Program; federal environmental initiative that encourages organizations to integrate health and environmental considerations in business decisions and practices.

GSA

General Services Administration, D.C., and regional offices

GSA Advantage

Government portal established and maintained by the General Services Administration (GSA); online shopping and ordering system.

GSA Catalog

GSA Global Supply Catalog; reflects most GSA stocks in supply.

GSA Form 1584

A contract summary form that provides an abstract of pricing and other pertinent information applicable to requirement contracts for stock replenishment.

GSA Global Supply (GGS)

Formerly called the depot program, GSA office provides products to customers through stock and direct programs; part of GSA's General Supplies and Services (GSS) portfolio within the Federal Acquisition Service.

GSA/CPP

GSA Commercial Platforms Program; streamlines micro-purchases across federal agencies via eight approved e-commerce platforms.

GSS

General Supplies and Services; portfolio within GSA Federal Acquisition Service that manages commodity and niche products, technology services, and travel and transportation services; GSS manages AbilityOne products sold through GSS business line through GSA Global Supply and through the non-IT MAS schedules.

GTIN

Global Trade Item Number; may use the UCC-12 or EAN/UCC-14 data structures or the UCC/EAN-8 or UCC/EAN-13 data structures.

GWAC

Governmentwide Acquisition Contract; A type of task-order contract established by one federal agency for use by others to procure IT products and services.
