National Association for the Employment of People Who Are Blind; composed of NIB associated agency executives.

Non-Appropriated Fund; funds generated from sales/profits of the Armed Services Exchange System.

NAICS

A NAICS code, or North American Industry Classification System code, is a six-digit number used to classify businesses by industry. Federal agencies use these codes to collect and analyze economic data. Businesses rely on NAICS codes for market research, government contracts, and tax incentives.

Non-Exempt Employee

A person who must be paid overtime pay (i.e., 1-1/2 times their regular rate of pay, usually paid after 40 hours work).

Non-Responsive

Usually a bid that does not comply with all parts of an IFB.

NPA

Nonprofit Agency; NPA is an alternate term for CRP. NPAs are organizations that perform services or produce products with Contracting Activities that require a specific product or service.
