Contract provision that gives the government right to cancel a contract.

Testing

Means of determining the capability of an item to meet specified requirements by subjecting the item to a set of physical chemical environmental or operating actions and conditions.

TFM

Total Facilities Management; A comprehensive approach to managing all aspects of a facility's operations and maintenance under a single contract or management structure.

TGR

Total Government Requirement (See A-List)

Third-Party Audit

Examination of a company or an organization conducted by a group that is not associated with either the purchaser or supplier.

Tolerance

Allowable deviation from a standard.

TQM

Total Quality Management; management approach to long-term success through customer satisfaction; based on participation of all members in improving processes, products, services, and culture.

TRAC

Truth Responsibility Accounting in Contracting Act

Traceability

Ability to trace history application or location of an item or activity and like items or activities by means of recorded identification.

Trade Item

Item, product, or service for which there is need to retrieve predefined information and that may be priced, ordered, or invoiced at any point in the supply chain.
