Registration is now open for the 2021 NIB/NAEPB Training Conference and Expo, October 12-15. at the Hyatt Regency Crystal City in Arlington, Virginia.

This year’s in-person conference will feature a variety of interesting and informative speakers at our general session on Wednesday morning, October 13, including some of the outstanding associated agency employees nominated for employee of the year.

Wednesday afternoon, attendees can stroll the floor of our exciting Expo, where dozens of vendor representatives will be ready to discuss their product and service offerings and how they can meet pressing business needs. Federal customers can also attend our AbilityOne® Program training on Wednesday afternoon, to learn more about how they can support the mission of creating and sustaining employment and careers for people who are blind.

On Thursday, this year’s conference offers three training tracks for associated agency personnel on the AbilityOne Program; advocating on issues affecting the employment of people who are blind; and development issues such as the Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) required of federal contractors, strengthening agency operations and business strategies, and succession planning and upward mobility.

Thursday will also feature our awards luncheon, recognizing outstanding federal and Department of Defense customers supporting our mission, our Partners in Excellence, the large and small suppliers of the year, and awards for outstanding agencies and their Base Supply Center and Contract Management Support employees. The conference will wrap up with a banquet Thursday evening recognizing our Peter J. Salmon Employee of the Year Award and Milton J. Samuelson Career Achievement Award winners and all of the outstanding nominees.

Registered attendees will have access to all sessions during the two-day event, including the general session, networking events, training sessions, and expo. Sponsorships and exhibitor booths are also still available. To learn more, visit the 2021 NIB/NAEPB Training Conference and Expo event site.
