Jeffrey Hawting, Senior Vice President, Business Operations

Jeffrey Hawting is a member of the leadership team for National Industries for the Blind.  As senior vice president, business operations, he is responsible for NIB’s core operations, leading the NIB teams responsible for new product and service growth, business development, military resale, contracts and pricing, Channel sales, and the AbilityOne.com ecommerce program.  

His career combines senior roles in sales management, operations, and non-profit leadership with a focus on achieving growth goals and a passion for developing and empowering sales and leadership teams to optimize performance.    

Mr. Hawting has more than 25 years of experience working in both for- and non-profit companies – such as Office Depot and LCI , the latter of which is an NIB associated agency – building strong relationships with federal civilian and Department of Defense customers to secure large federal contracts. Mr. Hawting applied this experience to his non-profit leadership within the AbilityOne Program.  

Jeffrey is a graduate of The Catholic University of America, with a Master of Arts degree. His early career working with faith communities helped him realize the importance of human connection. This supported his commitment and support for all employees within the AbilityOne Program to achieve their full potential through upward mobility.
