Retired Rear Admiral Jonathan Yuen is currently a consultant and a senior advisor for McKinsey. Earlier, he was Director of Americas Field Logistics in 2018 at Meta, where he oversaw logistics operations for customer centricity, supply chain resiliency, and transformative bets relating to artificial intelligence, sustainability, and technology.
Prior to his retirement from the Navy in 2018, Admiral Yuen was Commander, Naval Supply Systems Command, and 47th Chief of Supply Corps. Previously, he served as Commander, Global Logistics Support, from 2011 to 2013.
Admiral Yuen’s Supply Corps sea duty assignments include tours on the USS Narwhal and USS Constellation and as Supply Officer on the USS Nassau. His shore assignments include Aide to the Director of the Supply, Programs, and Policy Division in the Office of the Chief of Naval Operations and Executive Assistant in the Defense Logistics Support Center, Defense Logistics Agency. Admiral Yuen’s joint assignments include serving as Deputy Commander and Chief of Staff of the Joint Contracting Command – Iraq/Afghanistan, headquartered in the International Zone of Baghdad, and Director, U.S. Central Command Deployment and Distribution Operations Center in Camp Arifjan, Kuwait.
Admiral Yuen has been awarded three Legions of Merit, a Bronze Star, two Defense Meritorious Service Medals, three Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medals, and two Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medals. He graduated with distinction from the United States Naval Academy and has a Master of Business Administration from The Wharton School of Business, University of Pennsylvania.
