Wendy Roldan is vice president, finance, at National Industries for the Blind where she provides vision, leadership, and direction for the financial and accounting activities of the organization. Ms. Roldan’s oversight includes day-to-day accounting activities, treasury management, internal and external financial reporting, the annual preparation of the audit and Form 990, budgeting and forecasting, and program sales reporting.
Before joining NIB, Ms. Roldan spent 11 years guiding finance and business strategy at nonprofit organizations, where she gained experience leading finance, human resource, and IT teams. She has been responsible for strategic planning, financial forecasting and analysis, budget development and management, cash flow management, audit and tax compliance, and facilities management. Prior to working in nonprofit organizations, Ms. Roldan spent 16 years as a certified public accountant (CPA) in public accounting specializing in nonprofit audit and tax.
Ms. Roldan holds a Bachelor of Science in accounting from the University of Delaware in Newark, Delaware. She is licensed as an inactive-CPA in the state of Maryland and is a member of the American Institute of CPAs and the Greater Washington Society of CPAs.
